IET’s online ‘creation station’ will test your cognitive cogs
All those with great minds, prepare yourselves for an exceptional treat of intellectual perplexity. The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has just released its first ever viral marketing game campaign. Cogitate is designed to raise awareness of IET membership and services and to promote the online Inspec Direct database. Produced by award winning new media agency 4T2, the game allows you to manipulate gears, beams, conveyors and motors in order to complete ten pre-built puzzles. You then have the freedom to create your own levels and to challenge friends to complete them.
Complete the level to unlock solutions of other players that have completed the level. Because the game is made using a complex physics simulator, the possibilities are limitless. To add to the fun, The LEGO Company found the game so inspiring they have allowed IET to use LEGO TECHNIC pieces as the components in your virtual contraptions.
