AFOLs og Bionicle

So, I help run BZPower, one of the largest LEGO fansites out there, but our member base has many more TFOLs than AFOLs (though there’s still plenty of us) since we focus on Bionicle. Now I know some (many? ) of you probably don’t buy many Bionicle sets or care too much for the line, but we’re hoping to try to raise some awareness of what Bionicle is all about by doing a seminar at BrickFair this year near Washington DC.

So my question for you guys is, what are your thoughts on Bionicle, and is there anything that you would be interested in or think others would be interested in hearing about Bionicle? Some ideas we’ve had include building techniques, how the storyline influences the toys, and collectibility. Do AFOLs care about the storyline or is it all about the building?

Feel free to take this to your communities and get some feedback if you want to. I’d definitely like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
