Producer and Associate Producer For creative robotics products LEGO MINDSTORMS has gotten a little sister, WeDo Robotics, therefore we are looking to fill the roles of Producer and Associate Producer in LEGO Robotics Software. You will contribute to the way we design and make software for robotic toys in a department, where we use our different backgrounds to create state-of-the-art solutions. You will be joining a team based in Billund, Denmark, dedicated to developing the software for LEGO WeDo Robotics and LEGO MINDSTORMS. Both product series give children the possibility to freely build and program the robots, and both are widely used in children’s education. Work with design, communication, toys and dedicated colleagues As our new Producer/Associate Producer, you can look forward to joining a team that works in close cooperation with other business units, e.g. design, model development, electronics specialists and marketing in creating the optimal, holistic experience for the end user. Attempting to create the best possible products for the end users, you go the extra mile to understand the requirements and wishes of the consumers. Specifically, you take an active role in our communication with end users on different websites and forums dedicated to our products. Also, you contribute actively to knowledge sharing within our team. The Producer position is different from the Associate Producer position in its stronger focus on both retail and educational consumers. Also, the Producer is expected to take on more responsibility in managing schedules, deadlines and budgets for software deliveries. Are you Engineer, Master of Arts or something in between? Whether your education is a master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Design or something completely different, we expect you to have a creative problem-solving approach to your many daily tasks. You have relevant experience — either with interactive design, project management, software/IT development, multimedia or website production. Experience with developing software for children, be it for educational or retail market, is an advantage. As you will be communicating with international end users and colleagues, English proficiency is a prerequisite and some travelling should be expected. Application and contact Mark your application “Producer” or “Associate Producer”, and send it no later than 15 December to Anne Mette Dahm by email Anne.Mette.Dahm@LEGO.com. If you have questions about the position, please contact Manager of LEGO Robotics Lars Nyengaard at +45 7950 6536. Please state in your application where you have seen the advertisement.
